Our Journey
Bridging the Gap Between Certification Knowledge and Strategic Capability
Certification builds an important foundation of supply chain knowledge. But knowledge alone does not always translate into confident application, sound judgment, stronger leadership, or measurable workplace results.
SCM Learning Center (SCMLC) is being built to help bridge that gap.
Our goal is to provide practical, accessible, and progressively structured learning that helps supply chain professionals continue developing beyond certification—without requiring every development need to become another 40- to 100-hour commitment.

Certification builds the foundation. Ongoing capability development turns knowledge into
stronger decisions, better performance, and greater strategic impact.

A Message from Our Founder
Most practitioners also do not have 40 to 100 hours available every time they need to develop a new capability. They need access to focused, practical learning when needed, at a pace that fits their work and at a price they can afford.
I created SCM Learning Center (SCMLC) because too few learning providers continue the development journey beyond certification or provide accessible, affordable options for ongoing capability development.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about SCMLC, what we are building, and how we can support your ongoing capability-development journey."
All the best,
JB McDaniels

Learning Cannot Be a One-Time Event
Stay Current
Strengthen Judgment
Apply Knowledge
Drive Results
Competence is not demonstrated by what a professional knows alone.
It is demonstrated by how effectively that knowledge is applied to produce results.
It is demonstrated by how effectively that knowledge is applied to produce results.
Workplace Example: A planner may understand forecast accuracy metrics, but demonstrates capability when they can identify bias, explain the business impact, recommend corrective action, and improve the planning process.
From Knowledge to Strategic Capability
Capability develops progressively. Professionals first build awareness and understanding,
then strengthen application, judgment, leadership, and strategic contribution.

Start where your current knowledge, responsibilities, and development needs
indicate— not necessarily at the beginning.

Start with Practical Insights

You do not always need a 40-hour course to improve a decision.
Sometimes you need the right insight at the right time.
