About SCM Learning Center

Building decision-level supply chain capability for professionals responsible for real outcomes.

Why SCM Learning Center Exists

Supply chain professionals are expected to make complex decisions every day—under uncertainty, cross-functional pressure, and real operational constraints.

Yet most supply chain education stops at frameworks, tools, and credentials.

SCM Learning Center exists to change that.

Our Vision

Enable supply chain professionals to build real capability—so they can make, explain, and own decisions under real-world constraints.

Our Mission

Design and deliver applied, decision-based eLearning that enables supply chain professionals to deliberately build capability throughout their careers.

How We Enforce Capability-Based Learning

SCM Learning Center does not claim to create capability for learners.

Capability is built through practice, reflection, and ownership.

Our role is to design the learning environments, decision structures, and conditions that make that possible.

To protect learning integrity and real-world relevance, every SCM Learning Center course must meet the following non-negotiable standards:
 • Anchored in real operational decisions, not abstract topic coverage
 • Built around constraints, trade-offs, and consequences
 • Embedded cross-functional context (finance, operations, service, risk)
 • Requires learners to practice decisions, not just observe examples
 • Designed for application within 30–90 days
 • Evaluated based on application and behavior change—not completion alone

SCM Learning Center is founder-led by design.
Learning standards, decision logic, and capability frameworks are centrally governed to ensure consistency, realism, and accountability as the catalog grows.

How Learning Is Structured

Learning at SCM Learning Center is intentionally organized to support progressive capability development.
  • Essential Learning
Foundational knowledge and shared language, often delivered through education and certification programs.

  • Applied Learning
Short Courses designed to help professionals apply knowledge, evaluate trade-offs, and perform in their role
    (Current focus)

  • Mastery Learning
Advanced, leadership-level capability for senior professionals and decision leaders
    (Introduced in future phases)
Certifications are a point along the learning journey—not the destination.  (Not offered here)

Who This Is Built For

SCM Learning Center is built for:
  • Experienced supply chain professionals
  • Practitioners accountable for real outcomes
  • Managers expected to explain and defend decisions
  • Organizations seeking consistent decision-making capability
This platform is not built for:
  • Introductory learners
  • Certification preparation
  • Content-only learning
  • Passive consumption
This clarity is intentional.

When We Succeed

When SCM Learning Center succeeds:
  • Professionals take ownership of their capability development—not just credential accumulation
  • Organizations invest in learning that changes how decisions are made
  • Managers confidently explain trade-offs to finance and leadership
  • Learning shifts from one-time events to continuous, role-aligned capability development
  • Professionals stop asking “What course should I take?” and start asking:
What capability must I build next to perform?

How SCM Learning Center Is Being Built

SCM Learning Center is being built deliberately in phases:
  • 2026 — Phase 1:
A foundation of applied, capability-based Short Courses
  • 2027 — Phase 2:
Mastery-level learning for senior mid-level managers and decision leaders
  • 2028 and beyond — Phase 3:
A modern, for-profit professional learning association focused on end-to-end supply chain capability development

Design Philosophy
Learning is designed around decisions, not content coverage—moving professionals from knowing concepts to applying judgment under real operational constraints. Courses surface trade-offs, force choices, and require explanation, because that’s how work actually happens. The focus is on capability that holds up when data is imperfect and priorities conflict; knowledge is treated as a tool, not the objective. Learning is intentionally short, focused, and grounded in real operating conditions so professionals can make, explain, and own decisions with confidence.
